Creatio 8.3.4: A Campaign-Building Agent and Microsoft Graph Instead of EWS
Creatio 8.3.4 Twin (May 2026) brings an agent that builds marketing campaigns from a description, a new mail integration through the Microsoft Graph API, custom metric formulas and surveys in the Field Sales app. Plus a naming change in Creatio.ai. Here is what matters for B2B companies and what to plan before upgrading.
Creatio 8.3.4 Twin was released in May 2026. It has one clear theme for marketing (an agent that builds campaigns), one for IT (mail through Microsoft Graph), and plenty of practical changes for field teams and customer service.
Below are the changes we think matter most for B2B companies. You can find the full list in the official Creatio 8.3.4 release notes.
The Campaign Generation Agent
In the Creatio.ai chat panel, you describe the campaign goal, the audience and the flow. The agent proposes a workflow for you to review, and after you approve it, it creates the campaign with a name, a goal and a flow, and returns a link. It works in Digital Ads, Lead Generation, Email Marketing and Event Management.
An important limitation: the agent does not configure campaign element parameters. Conditional delays, linked emails and landing pages have to be finished by hand. Treat it as a quick start, not a finished campaign.
Alongside it, there is also a library of campaign flow templates, with ready-made ones and ones you saved yourself.
Mail through the Microsoft Graph API instead of EWS
Microsoft Graph API is now the primary mail integration method in Creatio, replacing the older EWS: it covers sending, receiving and processing messages. Application-level impersonation is supported, as is a hybrid mode in which the calendar stays on EWS while mail moves to Graph.
There is a migration tool for moving mailboxes between EWS and Graph, in both directions. According to the release notes, it is available on request, after contacting Creatio support.
What to do: if you use an Exchange integration, plan the move to Graph with your IT team and decide whether to migrate the calendar too.
New Creatio.ai terminology
Skills are now called Sub-agents, the “Call Creatio.ai” process element is the Sub-agent element, and AI actions inside sub-agents are AI Tools. Support for the GPT-5.2 model was also added when configuring agents and sub-agents. The GenAI microservice now works on the basis of actions, in line with the AI pricing model.
It is only a change of names, but it is worth updating your internal instructions and training materials.
Marketing
- Lead Generation: new campaign elements “Add from Creatio landing page” (adds visitors after a form is submitted) and “Form submitted on Creatio landing page?” (routes participants based on form submission).
- Email Marketing: a new Performance tab replaces Results: delivery rate, bounces, unsubscribes, spam, unique opens and clicks, and error details. Machine-generated opens and clicks are excluded from the main metrics and shown on a separate dashboard. A single font library was also added to the Email Designer.
- Digital Ads: campaign elements that push contacts to Google Ads and Meta Ads audiences at a chosen step, a match rate after synchronization, and the ability to connect your own ad accounts.
Customer service
Agent Inbox now shows delivery statuses: for Telegram (sending, sent, failed), and for WhatsApp and SMS additionally “delivered” and “read” (WhatsApp), with error details. You can also start a conversation on SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram and Facebook Messenger from the message composer, with the messaging rules still applying. Support for WhatsApp usernames (BSUID) was added, which keeps contact matching working when a customer hides their phone number.
The no-code platform
- Custom metric formulas in the Freedom UI Designer: COUNT, SUM, AVG, MIN, MAX, arithmetic, filters and references to related objects.
- A hierarchical list for parent-child data, with sorting, inline editing and multi-select.
- A “Send chat message” process element, which sends template-based or custom messages and links the chat to a record.
- Application Hub warns about downgrading an app version and blocks installs that would break the dependencies of other apps.
Creatio Mobile and Field Sales
The app for field teams got surveys during a visit (single-choice, multiple-choice, text and numeric questions, with validation of mandatory questions and draft saving), account creation from the map by long-pressing a location, and a nearby search within 500 m, 2 km or 5 km. You can also run a business process from the mobile app (in online mode).
Administration
The platform runs on Angular 19, and AWS RDS PostgreSQL 16.11 is supported. The configuration activity log was extended: it records backups of replaced package versions during installs, configuration restores, and changes to applications, sections, environment restarts and localization.
In beta
In 8.3.4, the beta features included AI chat automation (Creatio.ai handles the first line of conversations on Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook and SMS, with handover to a human), the AI app development toolkit (generally available only in 10X), the Sales Engagement app, the Web Chat channel, page preview in the designer and advanced filters. Some of them required contacting Creatio support or a feature flag.
What to check before upgrading
- Mail. Agree with IT whether and when you move from EWS to Graph, and request the migration tool from support.
- Naming. Update the documentation of processes that use the “Call Creatio.ai” element.
- Campaigns. Plan time to finish campaigns built by the agent by hand.
- Beta. Test beta features on a test environment and don’t promise them to teams as production-ready.
