Creatio 10.1: Pivot Tables, WhatsApp and Live Sales Forecasts
Creatio 10.1 Unlimited is the October 2026 release. We picked the changes that sales, customer service and marketing teams will notice in their daily work: pivot tables in Freedom UI, a native WhatsApp channel, live-updating sales forecasts and a new email template designer. Plus a checklist of things to keep in mind before you upgrade.
Creatio 10.1 Unlimited reached customers in October 2026, following the July launch of 10X with Creatio AI Studio. This time there is no single headline feature. Instead, there are several changes that sales reps, customer service agents and marketing teams will feel every day.
Below are the ones we think matter most for B2B companies. You can find the full list in the official Creatio 10.1 release notes.
Pivot tables in Freedom UI
Until now, an analysis like “sales by region and quarter” often ended with an export to Excel. In 10.1, you can place a pivot table directly on a dashboard, a form page, a list page or a home page.
You can configure the widget yourself: groupings, aggregates, calculated fields, date grouping and filters. You can also describe what you need and let an AI agent using the Creatio toolkit (more on that below) prepare the configuration for you.
What it gives you: a manager sees a cross-tab view where they already work, on live CRM data, without a separate BI tool.
Live sales forecasts
Changes to the sales forecast, forecast submissions and edits to linked records appear for all users within about a second, with no page refresh. Creatio describes this as a target rather than a guarantee, but the direction is clear: during a forecast review, the whole team looks at the same numbers.
Several practical changes landed in the same area:
- Opportunity summary (Summary, Activity and Timeline tabs) opens straight from the forecast, so you don’t have to leave it to check the context.
- A dedicated forecast hierarchies section, where an administrator creates and edits hierarchies in one place. Creatio warns you before a change affects forecasts that already have submissions.
- Hierarchy filters that limit which records feed a given forecast.
- Configurable submission value and permissions to restrict who can edit it.
There is also a “Sales pipeline movement” widget (a Sankey diagram) showing how opportunities flow through the pipeline. It requires the EnablePipelineAnalytics feature flag.
Native WhatsApp channel
The new WhatsApp Chat Channel app connects a WhatsApp Business account to Creatio through the Meta Cloud API. It is set up in the Customer Communication Hub. It supports delivery statuses (sending, sent, delivered, read, failed), queue routing and contact matching by phone number.
The existing channel through Twilio remains available and supported, so there is no forced migration.
Contact Center also got improvements for agents: translations are stored permanently, an agent can translate and edit a message before sending it, and attachments prepared in a chat don’t disappear when switching to another conversation.
In beta, there is a personal channel: an employee can use their own WhatsApp number (Coexistence mode), and conversations go directly to them.
What it gives you: if your customers write to you on WhatsApp, that conversation lands in the same place as chats and cases, together with the contact history.
The new Email Template Designer
The Message templates section now has a drag-and-drop editor for service and transactional emails. Four things stand out from our perspective:
- Merge tags, including fields from related objects, not just from the source record.
- Language versions in a single template, with a separate subject and body for each language.
- Conditional rows, up to 4 conditions per template out of the box.
- Saved rows, which are reusable blocks (a footer, contact details) inserted from the Rows tab.
Email marketing also gained custom brand fonts (with a fallback font), reply-to addresses that route replies to a monitored mailbox, and a Bulk Email Subscription Migration process for moving to the new subscription model. The latter is worth planning together with your marketing team.
AI agents can build more than before
The toolkit for building applications with AI coding agents (such as Claude Code, Codex or GitHub Copilot) now also covers workplaces, Freedom UI desktops and home pages, dashboards, widgets, and page-level and object-level business rules. Applications generated this way ship with section-level and app-level dashboards out of the box.
This is a tool for administrators and creators, not for end users, and its output always needs review. It does shorten the path from describing a need to a working prototype.
If you are interested in AI agents that work inside the company day to day (rather than building applications), see our page about Creatio AI Studio.
For IT: sign-in and administration
- SSO user matching rules: you configure which claim maps to which Creatio field (email by default).
- Multiple OpenID Connect providers per user, without duplicate accounts. Existing users are linked on their first sign-in after the update.
- SSO without JIT provisioning: only pre-created users can sign in, and Creatio does not create or update accounts.
- MSAL sign-in for Creatio Mobile (Microsoft Entra ID) on Intune-managed devices, and Creatio Mobile for Intune on Android in Google Play.
- Theme Designer: no-code visual themes with palettes generated from your brand colors.
- Configuration activity log: change comparison for schemas and packages, plus optional AI-generated explanations of changes. Creatio notes that these summaries must be verified.
What to check before upgrading
- Feature flags. Some new features only work once an additional feature is enabled (for example
EnablePipelineAnalytics,EmailRecipientsSearchV2,MeetingAttendanceSync). Don’t assume everything works right after the upgrade. - Beta features (AI-generated filters, metric comparison, personal WhatsApp channels, SMTP relay without a password) should be tested on a test environment. Don’t promise them to teams as production-ready.
- Email subscription migration. Agree on timing and scope with marketing.
- SSO. If you use external sign-in, review the new matching rules before rolling out to production.
Want to see what makes sense for you?
Not every new feature is worth rolling out right away. As a certified Creatio Level IV partner, we help assess which changes will benefit a specific team: sales (Creatio Sales), service (Creatio Service) or marketing (Creatio Marketing).
