Creatio 8.3.2: The End of the Classic UI Shell and AI Billed in Actions
Creatio 8.3.2 Twin (December 2025) retires the Classic UI shell, changes Creatio.ai billing from tokens to actions, lets you connect your own LLMs, and adds the Territory Management app and a visual Mobile Designer. Here is what changes when you upgrade and what is worth testing in advance.
Creatio 8.3.2 Twin was released in December 2025. This release has two changes that affect every customer, whether or not they use AI: the retirement of the Classic UI shell and a new way of billing Creatio.ai. There are also new agents, the Territory Management app and a visual editor for mobile pages.
Below are the changes we think matter most for B2B companies. You can find the full list in the official Creatio 8.3.2 release notes.
The end of the Classic UI shell
As of 8.3.2, official support for the Classic UI shell (the panels, navigation and communication areas) has ended. Environments that still use it are switched to Freedom UI automatically during the upgrade, with no additional configuration on your side. Classic UI sections continue to work as before.
An administrator can enable Freedom UI earlier, for selected users, roles or the whole organization.
What to do: before you upgrade production, enable Freedom UI for a test group and check how your processes, shortcuts and training hold up. The change affects look and navigation, so the biggest challenge is usually getting users used to it, not the technology.
AI billed in actions, and custom LLMs
Actions instead of tokens. One action is one complete request to an LLM: a search, a summary, an agent run or a process call. Customers who bought extra token packages keep using them.
Custom models. You can connect external models (OpenAI, Azure AI and other providers) or locally hosted ones, including in closed environments. Choosing a custom LLM is possible for selected AI packages, and adding your own models starts with the Accelerate package. Whether you can connect a model depends on your license.
What it gives you: AI cost is easier to predict (you count requests, not tokens), and you can keep data in your own infrastructure if your requirements call for it.
New Creatio.ai capabilities
- Segmentation Agent (Marketing): builds filters and dynamic folders from a description of the target audience.
- Filter Agent: creates dynamic folders from natural-language requests, resolving data model relationships on its own.
- Confirming critical actions. The user approves in chat the actions that have consequences before they are executed.
- Better agent selection. The platform takes into account the page context and the visible fields, not only the first message.
- A case performance agent detects escalations between people, groups and support lines, and shows the full path.
- Widgets generated in chat: pipeline visualizations and record lists based on a description.
- News and subscriptions about key accounts.
- Chat translation (enabled with
EnableChatTranslation, off by default).
Territory Management
A new app for organizing accounts, leads and opportunities by territory: hierarchical views, parent-child relationships, ownership and KPIs such as account coverage and pipeline activity. It requires the Customer 360 app, and Lead and Opportunity Management can extend it.
Customer service: three dashboards
Case Management gained Freedom UI dashboards: the Agent command center (personal workload and KPIs), Case intelligence (trends and exceptions for managers) and the Service command center (the state of service for leadership).
Creatio Mobile
- Freedom UI Mobile Designer: a visual drag-and-drop editor, similar to the desktop one, with components such as lists, attachments and a barcode scanner, and with business rules.
- Asset identification through NFC: scanning a tag links the device to a record by serial number, without writing to the tag.
- Creatio.ai on mobile: action confirmations and search in chats.
Platform and integrations
- Application Hub checks file integrity, dependencies and version compatibility before installation.
- Presence indicators show who is editing a page, source code, a data source or an object.
- Webhook batching for high-volume traffic and OAuth 2.0 on .NET 8.
- An OData 4 API for file operations, including external storage such as AWS S3.
- Angular 18, and the Custom package turned into a regular package with fewer dependencies.
- Client-side caching, which makes pages and tabs open faster.
In beta
A structure view of elements in the designers, a DCM stage progress bar in the mobile app, seconds in Date/Time fields, and matching a user by email in OpenID provisioning. Each of these requires enabling its own flag.
What to check before upgrading
- Classic UI. Test Freedom UI with a pilot group before upgrading production, and plan short training.
- AI budget. Convert your usage to actions and check how your license treats connecting your own models.
- Territory Management. Make sure you have Customer 360.
- Beta. Test beta features on a test environment.
